A satellite meeting of Lorne Proteins

The structure, regulation and function of lipid and protein phosphatases and their roles in human diseases will be the focus of this inaugural conference to be held on February 3rd – 4th, 2012 at Quay West Suites Southbank, Melbourne, Australia as a satellite of the Lorne Conference on Protein Structure and Function.

The conference will be the first of it kind in the world and cover the progress made in defining the roles of lipid and protein phosphatases in cancer, diabetes, obesity and immune disorders and new developments on protein structure and function, cell signaling and drug design.

This conference will host leaders in the phosphatase and general cell signalling fields from Australia and abroad.  It will include a poster session with a £250 prize and opportunities for short talks that will be selected from submitted abstracts.

Registration includes morning and afternoon tea/coffee, lunch and a mixer on the Friday evening.
